If you think you might be interested in becoming a guardian home candidate here are some things to know : A guardian home will get one pick of the litter pups. The pup will have the best coat, temperament, confirmation and intelligence. DDF starts its evaluation process early and each puppy is exposed to many different situation, sounds and circumstances for this evaluation.

All Guardian pups are sold with a contract! No exceptions. Guardian homes are sold on a case by case basis. If you feel like your family can fulfill the obligations described below don’t hesitate to apply and Derby Doodle Farm contact you directly. 

On many occasions throughout the year, Derby Doodle Farm will hold a puppy from a litter hoping she/he will pass all his or her testing and can become a mommy or daddy in our program. This is when we look for a guardian home.

The benefits for a Guardian family are they receive a top-quality puppy/dog, that must meet the strictest requirements to be in our breeding program. Plus, the guardian home gets compensated for each litter produced by a (female). The puppy also will receive genetic testing at the Breeder's expense.
